An RIC collaboration is featured in today's Wall Street Journal, in an article entitled, "The Power of Unsolvable Problems." The piece highlights the “Design Thinking and Communications” course required of all Northwestern University engineering students which presents them with open-ended problems with no right solutions. RIC has collaborated with NU on this course for several years with funding from the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR).

The course is a wonderful extension of the RIC culture, embracing collaboration, applied innovation surrounding our patients, and the thoughtful translation of research with students and partners at Northwestern's McCormick School of Engineering.

Let's get connected.
