Lotsa Helping Hands is a web–based community that assists caregivers and families in crisis to organize meals, rides, and other needs through the use of a group calendar. The organizing system is free, private, and easy to figure out, and it can channel offers of “what can I do to help” into meaningful assistance to a family. By using it, a family can:
* Organize rides to medical and therapy appointments
* Coordinate meal preparation and delivery
* Manage logistical tasks
* Communicate and share information with message boards, photos, and announcements
* Provide medical status updates
