Shane Callahan sustained a spinal cord injury 1 1/2 years ago, resulting in paralysis from the diaphragm down. Callahan spent approximately two months as an inpatient and six months in outpatient rehab at the 汤头条app. He currently goes to Next Steps Chicago, a neurological rehabilitation clinic in Willow Springs. 

Callahan is using the new ARC-EX device, which delivers electrical stimulation directly to the spine. Dr. Arun Jayaraman, PT, PhD, Director of the Max N?der Center for Rehabilitation Technologies and Outcomes Research, discusses its impact and therapeutic potential.
