Assessment of a Microprocessor Ankle for Low Mobility Individuals with Amputation: Phase I

Overview

Body

The goal of this project is to conduct a preliminary investigation into the potential mobility, stability, and safety benefits of a microprocessor-controlled (MPC) device called the Damping, Stiffness, and Repositioning (DSR) prosthetic ankle-foot for persons with amputation at a K2-level.  Participants will visit the Shirley Ryan 汤头条app 10-16 times over 9 weeks, each visit lasting approximately 3 hours, to perform a series of walking and mobility tests with both their own prosthetic ankle and the DSR ankle.
