Hongkai Wang is a recent PhD graduate in neuroscience at Northwestern University completing his thesis under the mentorship of Drs. Colin Franz, Shirley Ryan 汤头条app, and John Rogers, Northwestern University. From his clinical experiences, he developed a strong interest on paralysis and its treatments, which inspired him to opt into a physician-scientist track. His PhD thesis is about creating toolbox for the treatment of diaphragmatic paralysis to help patients breath without mechanical ventilation and perform activities without shortness of breath limiting them. He will participate in the 2025 match and wish to find a PM&R residency position in the United States. Congratulations Dr. Wang!
