Join us every third Thursday of the month to get together and have meaningful discussions with other stroke survivors.
Each meeting will feature a guest speaker who will touch upon different topics related to stroke and stroke recovery.
This month’s guest speaker will be Katie Wydra, Senior Speech Language Pathologist at Streeterville DayRehab Center?. The topic of our discussion will be communication in stroke recovery. Katie has worked in both inpatient and outpatient levels of care. She graduated from MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2019 and has worked in the Chicago area ever since. She has completed additional trainings in adult learning and supported communication across populations.
